The Scene
For those of us whose lives center around the sand, sea, and sky,
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) offer some of the worlds most pristine
conditions to enjoy the elements.
Located approximately 50 miles to the East of Puerto Rico, the British
Virgin Islands are a kiteboarder's paradise waiting to be discovered.
The archipelago is comprised of about 60 virtually untouched islands
and keys which bask in 80 to 85 degree water temperatures year-round
with wintertime air temps about the same.
|
|
|
The steady tradewinds of 15-20 knots help to keep things cool when
the sun starts to put the heat on. The BVI offers flat water, open
ocean, and reef break waves year round. |
